    Evgeny Grigoryev, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg and General Director of ''Baltic Pearl'' CJSC Wu Hemin discussed the construction of social infrastructure in the neighborhood

    On June 27, Yevgeny Grigoryev visited the Baltic Pearl multifunctional complex and examined the progress of work on the construction of a school and a children's and adult clinic on its territory (designed for 420 visits each day). The planned deadline for commissioning is 2020.

    Particular attention in the conversation was paid to improving the transport accessibility of the neighborhood and the improvement of the adjacent beach. As part of the investment obligations, until the end of 2020, Baltic Pearl CJSC, in addition to social facilities, remains to build 6 roads, 2 bank fortifications and 17 engineering facilities. In the near future, it is planned to open a metro station near the complex.

    Evgeny Grigoryev assured the Chinese side that the Government of St. Petersburg will continue to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of the Baltic Pearl strategic investment project and is open to discussing new initiatives by the company’s management regarding further implementation of the project.

    For reference: The investment project of complex development of the Baltic Pearl territory since 2005 has been implemented in the Krasnoselsky District of the South-Western part of St. Petersburg on an area of ​​205 hectares.

    Baltic Pearl CJSC is a subsidiary of the Shanghai Overseas United Investment Company in St. Petersburg, established by the five largest Shanghai corporations: Shanghai Industrial Investment Company, Brilliance Group Corporation, Jin Jiang International Holding, Shanghai Greenland Group and Shanghai Euro Euro -Asian Development Center "Europe & Asia".

    The project provides for the construction of 1072.9 thousand square meters. living space, as well as social infrastructure facilities with a total area of ​​63 thousand square meters: polyclinics for children and adults, ambulance stations, food and non-food goods stores, catering establishments, consumer services, a swimming pool, gyms and other required to serve the public facilities.

    The total investment in the project is over 2.2 billion US dollars. To date, more than 52 billion rubles have been invested in the project.
