The concert took place on December 20 at the concert hall "Al Hamra Convention Hall".
The organizer is the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg within the framework of the implementation by the Government of St. Petersburg of the state policy of the Russian Federation towards compatriots abroad. The project was supported by the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Dubai.
The aim of the project is to promote St. Petersburg culture abroad and maintain relations between Russian compatriots, including representatives of the younger generation, with Russia and St. Petersburg.
The concert included works by D. Verdi, A. Vivaldi, A. Alyabiev, A. Borodin, D. di Capua, as well as arrangements of Russian folk songs, etc. Performers-winner ofthe international competitions P. Yashchuk, soloist of the Mariinsky Theater A. Trofimov and instrumental ensemble "Essay quintet".
