On June 10, a working meeting between the chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy and Interaction with Public Organizations of St. Petersburg, Yulia Ablets, and the chairman of the Osh City Committee on Youth Affairs, Izzat Berkhmamatov was held in St. Petersburg.
The parties exchanged experience working with youth organizations, and also discussed the possibilities for further cooperation.
Yulia Ablets told partners from Kyrgyzstan about major youth events held in St. Petersburg: the international youth environmental conference, the Dobroforum, and the St. Petersburg international youth forum.
In turn, the head of the delegation of Osh, Izzat Berkhmamatov, spoke about plans to hold an international youth forum on the occasion of the announcement of Osh as the cultural center of the Turkic world this year and invited the St. Petersburg delegation to take part in the event.
