On April 4, at the St. Petersburg international automobile salon in Expoforum, Arby Abubakarov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for external relations of St. Petersburg, took part in the presentation of the automobile company Guangzhou Automobile Motor.
During the presentation, GAC Motor presented some models of its complex model range, including electric SUV GE3 version 530, minivans GM8 and GM6, sedans GA4 and GA8, as well as four SUVs – GS8, GS5, GS4 and GS3. Models GM6 and GS5 Russian public saw for the first time. The automaker also announced its plans to enter the Russian market in 2019:

The Russian subsidiary of the company - GAC Motor RUS - is preparing to launch the first products and open new salons in Russia, including in St. Petersburg.
Within the framework of the salon, agreements were signed with St. Petersburg dealer companies on the sale of GAC Motor cars. To trade cars of the company at first will be eight official representatives-dealers. GAC Motor plans to cover 20 regions of Russia with the largest sales of new cars in the near future
