The festival was organized with the support of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, the Embassy of Ireland in Russia and the Honorary Consul of Ireland in St. Petersburg, universities and organizations of St. Petersburg.
From March 15 to 17, the Irish Film Festival was organized in one of the cinemas of St. Petersburg.
On March 16, the XX International Folk Festival "St. Patrick's Day in St. Petersburg" was held.
St. Petersburg universities also joined the celebration program. On March 18, the IX Festival of Ireland in St. Petersburg took place at the Faculty of Humanities of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics. Limerick competition and student performances were held.
March 19, St. Patrick's Day was celebrated at the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. The program included a presentation on the history of the holiday, a discussion with the participation of students and lecturers, Irish music and dance. The organizer is the Irish Cultural Center of St. Petersburg.
