This year, the St. Petersburg partnership was visited by over 2,000 people – representatives of authorities, heads of major enterprises, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, educational institutions, industry funds, unions and associations from 35 regions of Russia and 14 foreign countries.
Alexander Beglov, acting Governor of St. Petersburg, took part in the opening ceremony of the partnership on March 12. He stressed the special importance of the partnership for the city, and summed up the results of the competition for the award of the Government of St. Petersburg-the honorary sign "Made in St. Petersburg". Deserved awards were presented to JSC "Diakont" JSC "Sredne-Nevsky shipbuilding plant", JSC "Admiralteiskie Verfi", OOO "United Heineken Brewery", JSC "ODK-Klimov", FSUE "Saint-Petersburg research Institute of vaccines and sera and enterprise for manufacturing bacterial preparations," Federal medical-biological Agency, JSC "Scientific research Institute of precise mechanics", JSC"GOZ Obukhov plant", JSC "Sparkling wines", JSC "Power machines", JSC "Oktyabrsky electric railway car repair plant".
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the partnership, Alexander Beglov noted that St. Petersburg is open for investment and will continue to create comfortable conditions for enterprises. The city is interested in creating high-tech industries, increasing high-paying jobs, the introduction of advanced technologies in the field of machine tools, IT, medicine and other areas.
Within the framework of the Congress program of the partnership, 16 business events of various formats were held: from traditional conferences, sessions and discussions to inclusive formats of communication with the audience. Thus, in the format of a talk show on March 12, the Central event of the partnership on the theme "Industry of the regions: from specialization to integration". The participants of the talk show not only discussed the most important issues for the industry, but also through the involvement of the audience in the discussion identified a "matrix" of specific proposals and conclusions. In the discussion took part the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Eugene Elin, Deputy Chairman of the government of the Novgorod region Evgeny Bogdanov, President of St. Petersburg chamber of Commerce and industry Yury Burchakov, first Vice-President, Director General of the Executive Directorate of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg Mikhail Lobin, Chairman of the Board of the Association "machine-building cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan" Sergey Mayorov and other experts.
The participants were also interested in the business marathon "Best practices of innovative projects", which presented the best practices-from the creation of innovative corporate projects to successful cases for the introduction of innovative technologies and market launch of unique products.
In addition, leading experts, entrepreneurs, representatives of government, associations and the scientific community in the framework of the Congress program of the partnership discussed issues of support for start-UPS from the seed stage to global markets, technology of digitalization of production, successful experience of regions in the support of small and medium-sized businesses, the creation of a single ecosystem for the search, development and implementation of projects of youth technological entrepreneurship, GR technology, the creation of a new generation of domestic technologies for processing materials as the basis for the successful implementation of the strategy "industry 4.0", the development of the event industry as a new point of growth of investment potential of regions and others.
The novelty of the business program was the zone "Startup Village" - a special platform for the presentation of unique innovative developments of young inventors and businessmen. So, potential investors were shown 10 projects, including a charging station for electric vehicle, smart stethoscope c function diagnosis breathing, intelligent barrier, and videoscopes for industrial enterprises, automated robotic multi-function setup others.
For the first time information business centers of St. Petersburg abroad were presented at the Partnership: business information center of St. Petersburg in Germany (Hamburg), Greece (Alexandroupolis), Italy (Milan) and China (Beijing).
At the exhibition, 18 regions of Russia and foreign partner countries of St. Petersburg demonstrated their industrial and investment opportunities, including: Republic of Dagestan, Republic of Karelia, Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Republic of Komi, Republic of Tatarstan, Vologda region, Ivanovo region, Kaliningrad region, Kaluga region, Kursk region, Leningrad region, Novgorod region, Nizhny Novgorod region, Pskov region, Rostov region, Tula region, Kotka (Finland) and Chinese business center (people's Republic of China).
Within the framework of the partnership, presentations of enterprises, industry funds and unions, government agencies supporting small and medium-sized businesses were held. In just three days, more than 120 presentations were held.
More than 1100 business meetings were held at the event, about 600 of them were held within the framework of the Exchange of business contacts.
