    Memorable evenings dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade were held in Beijing and Shanghai (China)

    The events were held on January 28 at the Russian cultural center in Beijing with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo and the active participation of the St. Petersburg Information business center in Beijing.

    The participants of the evening were veterans, Russian compatriots, graduates of Soviet universities, as well as Chinese students and students studying Russian.

    In the framework of the commemorative event were presented a photo exhibition "I speak to you from Leningrad..", "Salute of the Leningrad victory", "Blockade city-front", the exhibition of masks of the Chinese philatelist Zhu Chenchen devoted to the great Patriotic war, display of excerpts from the documentary "Ladoga" (1943), thematic concert numbers. All participants were given "Ribbons of the Leningrad Victory".

    As honored guests were the Russian Ambassador to China Andrey Denisov, Ambassador of China in Tajikistan Parviz Davlatzoda, Azerbaijan's Ambassador to China Akram Zeynalli, SCO Secretary-General Vladimir Norov, Advisor of the organizing Committee of the Association of Chinese veterans Mr. Peng Sungo and Deputy Chairman of the foreign Affairs Office of Beijing, Mr. Yin Fei.

    January 31 At the Russian cultural center in Beijing will also be an open screening of the full version of the film "Ladoga" 1943 in Russian with Chinese subtitles.

    January 28, the memorable event was held at the Consulate General of Russia in Shanghai. Honorary guests of the event were Russian Consul General in Shanghai Alexey Evsikov and Deputy Chairman of the Shanghai foreign Office Mr. Liu Guangyun.
