XXIII International and Interregional Bios-Forum was organized at the initiative of St. Petersburg Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Biopolitics International Organization (Greece), Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnical University, St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, under the auspices of the Committee for External Relations, Committee for Science and Higher Education, Committee for Natural Resources Management, Environmental Protection and Safety, Committee for Education, Information and Methodological Centers of Krasnoselsky, Kolpinsky and Moscovsky Regions of St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg Committee for Youth Policy and Social Organizations Interaction, St. Petersburg Research and Scientific Center for Ecological Safety of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Committee for Education of Leningrad Region, Interregional Ecological Club of Postgraduate Students, Students and Pupils of Baltic-Ladoga Region, ILIM Group Public Company, ECO-POTENCIAL Academy, Russian Creative Union of Cultural Workers and Arctic Public Academy of Sciences.
During the Forum, the discussion centered on the issues of modern bio-politics and environment with the possibility to conduct environmental monitoring of technological progress and create conditions necessary for the new 21st-century bio-culture based on the best achievable technology.
