During the visit, the delegation participated in the V Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia.
The delegation Head Sergey Movchan attended the Forum Plenary Session. Chairman of Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovations of St. Petersburg Maxim Meiksin and Chair of Committee for Youth Policy and Social Organizations Interaction Renata Abdulina delivered presentations within the Forum breakout sessions.
M.S. Meiksin presented a report titled “Priority Directions of Regional Cooperation Development as a Key Factor in Integration and Creating the Union State” within Section 5 devoted to digital economy.
R. Yu. Abdulina spoke of “Effective Practices of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus Youth Policy Implementation as Exemplified by the Cooperation between St. Petersburg and Minsk” within Section 3 devoted to social and civic engagement by youth.
In addition, during the visit Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Sergey Movchan had a meeting with First Deputy Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee F.V. Rimashevsky and visited Domochay Belarus enterprise producing bakery and confectionary products.
