On 04 December 2018 the Unified Center for Entrepreneurship hosted the Conference “Exports Day: ASIA Exporting and Doing Business with Asian and Pacific Countries”
The Event that was primarily directed at small and medium export-led enterprises from St. Petersburg was attended by about 100 participants.
In his speech opening the Conference, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg Vyacheslav Kalganov reported on the current work of building relations with the countries of the region, particularly with Japan, China, Vietnam, the Philippines and others and expanding the network of Information and Business Centers abroad. According to him, ongoing development of international relations distinctly attests to the fact that the Asian partners are interested in expanding exports from St. Petersburg manufacturers.
Trade representative of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Russian Federation Comrade Minh Duong Hoang, Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in St. Petersburg Luo Xin, Director of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Representative Office Yuta Ichinose, Head of the Far East History Department of St. Petersburg State University Prof. Vladimir Kolotov and others spoke at the Conference.
