    A Group of Schoolchildren from Gdansk Visited St.Petersburg

    In order to strengthen the positions of Russian language abroad and improve international public awareness about the history and culture of our city, St.Petersburg invited a group of schoolchildren - the winners of «Gdansk - the Twin City of St.Petersburg» contest, on May 18 through 24, 2009.

    In order to strengthen the positions of Russian language abroad and improve international public awareness about the history and culture of our city, St.Petersburg invited a group of schoolchildren - the winners of «Gdansk - the Twin City of St.Petersburg» contest, on May 18 through 24, 2009.

    With the support of the Committee for External Relations, the Polish pupils were made familiar with the attractions of St.Petersburg and its suburbs during this visit, as well as went to the theaters and museums of Northern Capital.

    On May 21, the winners of «Gdansk - the Twin City of St.Petersburg» contest were handed the souvenirs during the party at School No 216 with In-depth Study of Polish Language.
