M.E. Oseevskiy, Vice-Governor of St.Petersburg, had a conversation with Madame A.-M. Idraque, State Secretary on External Trade of France, in Smolny on April 7. Representatives of the large French companies interested in the development of cooperation with St.Petersburg also attended this meeting.

During the conversation, M.E. Oseevskiy observed that, despite the growing trade volume between St.Petersburg and France, the parties still had a considerable potential for enhancing the progress of economic cooperation. Among the most vital topics, mentioned was the interaction with the company «AEC Partners» about the opportunities of launching the pharmaceutical production in St.Petersburg, as well as mutual interest in the area of power engineering.

M.E. Oseevskiy and M-me Idraque welcomed an example of business cooperation between Northern Design Bureau and the company Gaztransport&Technigaz (GTT), which, upon termination of the conversation, signed the intentions protocol on designing the gas carriers.
