The Chinese delegation included CEO of Kingkey Group, Mr. Chen Hua, the Council Chairman of "Beijing Fucheng Baoding" Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd., Mr. Wu Weishan, as well as representatives of the National Museum of China Arts, the Union of Chinese artists and musicians, and the Russian-Chinese Business Park.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg E.D. Grigoriev noted the high level of cooperation between St. Petersburg and China, including the sphere of cultural exchanges and investment. According to E.D. Grigoriev, "Cooperation with China has a strategic character. The key role in the development of trust-based and constructive dialogue between Russia and China is played by our leaders Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Xi Jinping, who show with their personal example the priority of Russian-Chinese bilateral relations".
Chinese delegation expressed its interest in cooperation development. It was suggested to cooperate on specific non-scientific projects, for example, to organize special exhibitions of Russian art at the National Art Museum of China during the official visit of delegation of St. Petersburg to China, to hold the Chinese Culture Festival in St. Petersburg, to invite the Chinese delegation to participate in the St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum in 2017.
E.D. Grigoriev expressed the willingness to support the initiative of the Chinese side. The Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg also noted that during the recent cultural and business mission of St. Petersburg to Beijing Chinese side expressed the willingness to support the organization of the Chinese New Year in St. Petersburg and to send the Beijing performance group for participation in 2017.
As a result of the discussion it is decided to hold a meeting with potential investors from China, in particular the city of Shenzhen, in St. Petersburg in 2017 to discuss opportunities for implementation of investment projects in the spheres of construction, energy, hospitality, agriculture and so on.
