    On 13 - 16 March 2016, St. Petersburg was visited by the delegation of Economic Affairs Committee of the Schleswig-Holstein Landtag, headed by the Commission Chairman Christopher Vogt

    During the meeting, the industrial potential of St. Petersburg and the city transport and logistics complex were presented to the members of the delegation. They discussed prospects for cooperation in the shipbuilding industry.

    The delegation visited St. Petersburg to explore the possibilities of further expansion of the business relationship after the opening of the Russian office of «European Cargo Logistics GmbH» Logistics (ECL) (a subsidiary of the port city of Lübeck (Lübecker Hafen Gesellschaft mbH (LHG) in our city in last November.

    On 14 March, 2016, Smolny hosted a meeting of the delegation with the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg Igor Lonsky. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovation of St. Petersburg Sergey Talnishnikh and the director of the St. Petersburg state public institution "Agency for external transport" Aleksandra Bakhmutskaya.

    During the meeting, the industrial potential of St. Petersburg and the city transport and logistics complex were presented to the members of the delegation. They discussed prospects for cooperation in the shipbuilding industry.

    The German side expressed hope for an early lifting of sanctions and the restoration of the previous level of cooperation on a mutually beneficial basis.
