On July 19, 2015, performance of the Australian musician William Barton was held in the concert hall of Mariinskiy theatre – a famous performer of classical music on the Australian instrument didgeridoo.
The concert was arranged with the support of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg and Australian Embassy in in Russia as part of the festival “White Night Stars” featuring the Youth orchestra of the Mariinskiy theatre conducted by the Australian conductor Daniel Smith. An exhibition dedicated aboriginals of the Western Australia was presented in the lobby.
