    The Unveiling of the Bust of the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin in Prague

    As part of the Czech-Russian cultural project, the unveiling of a bust of the famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was held in the Pushkin Square in Prague on June 6th, 2014.

    As part of the Czech-Russian cultural project, the unveiling of a bust of the famous Russian poet Alexander Pushkin was held in the Pushkin Square in Prague on June 6th, 2014.

    The bust was commissioned to mark the anniversary of the poet's birth. The project to erect the bust was implemented by the Russian-Czech Joint Chamber of Commerce, the Russian Embassy in the Czech Republic; executive authorities of St. Petersburg, including Administration of Vasileostrovsky District of St. Petersburg, that actively cooperates with the Prague 6 District under the Cooperation Agreement. St.Petersburg was represented at the event by the Head of the Vasileostrovsky District Administration, who also took part in  the events dedicated to the Day of the Prague 6 District. Representatives of the  Administration of Vasileostrovsky District and the Prague 6 Municipality confirmed their readiness to develop collaboration under the Cooperation Agreement.
