A. Prokhorenko noted at the meeting that such initiatives could provide the basis for new contacts between the two countries. Taking into account the current state of Russian-Bulgarian relations, cultural dialogue can become an important component of regional cooperation. Our city will be glad to welcome the initiatives of Bulgarian cities which have formalized the relations - Varna and Plovdiv.
M. Todorov described the activities of the Days of Spiritual Culture, and thanked St. Petersburg citizens for their interest in Bulgarian exhibitions and concerts. This gives a good opportunity to expand the St. Peresburg program for the future Bulgarian projects.
