    On November 29, the Finnish-Russian Forum on small and medium business was held in St. Petersburg with the support of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg

    The welcome speeches on the opening ceremony were given by the Consul General of Finland in St. Petersburg, P. Tulokas, A. Prokhorenko, a member of the Government of St. Petersburg, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, and K. Krasnenko, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade.

Krasnenko, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade.

    Representatives of 40 companies in total, 25 Russian and 16 Finnish ones respectively, representatives of the city of Turku and the regional branch of "OPORA RUSSIA" and others took part in the forum. Common issues for Russian and Finnish companies were raised in the discussion, solutions were proposed, public programs to support enterprises were considered.

    At the end of the event, the Protocol of Intent between the representatives of small and medium business office of the Group of Finland Advisors under St. Petersburg Government, St. Petersburg branch of the all-Russian NGO "OPORA RUSSIA" and the Association for Advancement of entrepreneurship "Saint-Petersburg Interregional Information and Business Center" was signed.
