On October 16, 2012 there was held a meeting between Zh.V. Vorobyova, Education Committee Chairperson, and M. Limin, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Italy.
On October 16, 2012 there was held a meeting between Zh.V. Vorobyova, Education Committee Chairperson, and M. Limin, Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Italy.
In course of the meeting they discussed development of joint advanced training projects for Russian language teachers in Italy and Italian language teachers in Saint Petersburg. Ministry of Education and Science of Italy decided to give 40 grants to Italian penultimate and ultimate students studying Russian for training in Russia. It is expected to delegate 10 recent graduates to our city so that they could give lessons of Italian in Saint Petersburg language schools.
From Zh.V. Vorobyova’s point of view such issues as exchange of methodologies and modern school practices, educational process development for physically challenged children and education quality management can also be important fields for bilateral cooperation. The parties discussed possibilities of signing a Memorandum of cooperation between the ministry of Education and Science of Italy and Education Committee.
