    A Delegation of the U.S. National War College Visited St.Petersburg

    On May 10, 2012, A.V.Prokhorenko, Chairman of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations, had at Smolny a conversation with a delegation from the U.S. National War College.

    On May 10, 2012, A.V.Prokhorenko, Chairman of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations, had at Smolny a conversation with a delegation from the U.S. National War College.

    The main theme of the meeting was introducing the domestic and foreign policy, economic development, and business climate in St.Petersburg to the teachers and the students from the College.

    During the talks, the guests learned about the main historical stages of development of St.Petersburg, about its current value for the whole Russia, about the current socio-economic development, and about the plans and prospects for the future.

    A.V.Prokhorenko told about the relationship of St.Petersburg with the U.S., and about the history of contacts covering more than 200 years.

    The members of the delegation of the National War College of United States expressed their great interest in Russia and in the city on the Neva riversides, and asked the Chairman of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations many questions.
