On October 3 through 12, 2011, the young actors from the Hamburg Youth Theatre of “FABRIK” Foundation were in St.Petersburg for a guest performance organized with the assistance of the Committee for External Relations and the Committee on Culture.

On the stage of Children’s Musical Theatre “Zazerkalye [Behind the Looking Glass]”, the guests from partner city of Hamburg presented the play “Alice in Wonderland” of the famous German playwright Roland Schimmelpfenning based on the fairy tales by Lewis Carroll.

The pupils of St.Petersburg Children’s Studio at the Theatre “Zazerkalye ” and the young composers and musicians from the School-Lyceum at St.Petersburg Rimskiy-Korsakov Conservatoire complemented the staging with their own original music, which they performed during the show.

Along with the rehearsals and performances, the program for young actors from Hamburg included visiting the museums of St.Petersburg and its suburbs.
