    A Delegation of Business Association “Gen Next” Visited St.Petersburg

    On October 6, 2011, A.V.Prokhorenko, Chairman of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations, met at Smolny with the representatives of business association “Gen Next” (California, USA). The meeting was attended by I.Yu.Tolstov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy, and Trade, and I.V.Ganus, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Science and Higher Education.

    On October 6, 2011, A.V.Prokhorenko, Chairman of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations, met at Smolny with the representatives of business association “Gen Next” (California, USA). The meeting was attended by I.Yu.Tolstov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy, and Trade, and I.V.Ganus, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Science and Higher Education.

    A visit to St.Petersburg of a delegation of young Californian entrepreneurs “millionaires” was organized by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Chamber of Commerce of the United States, within the framework of Russian-American Business Dialogue. The meeting was also attended by Kenneth Duckworth, Head of the U.S. Trade Representative Office in St. Petersburg.

    During the meeting, A.V.Prokhorenko told about priority directions of development of St.Petersburg in the context of the Russian governmental policy of innovative development and modernization of the national economy, raised the issues of international cooperation, taking into account the relations of St.Petersburg and the U.S., and responded to the questions from participants.
