    St.Petersburg is Developing Cooperation with Shanghai

    On June 29, 2011, the delegation of Shanghai Committee of People's Political Consultative Council of China visited St.Petersburg, leaded by Mr Zhou Taitung, Deputy Head.

    On June 29, 2011, the delegation of Shanghai Committee of People's Political Consultative Council of China visited St.Petersburg, leaded by Mr Zhou Taitung, Deputy Head.

    During the meeting with Andrei Petruk, First Deputy Chairman of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations, the sides exchanged views on potential areas of bilateral cooperation between the two cities.

    Andrew Petruk said in his speech that St.Petersburg and Shanghai were rich in potential that could be and must be developed.

    During the visit, the Chinese delegation also met with the members of the Public Council of St.Petersburg. Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
