On April 15 and 16, 2011, IV Travel Forum “Kharkiv: Partnership in Tourism” and exhibition “Kharkiv Travel Biennale” were held in the premises of Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet .
With the assistance of the Information and Business Center of St.Petersburg in Kharkiv, St.Petersburg was represented on the forum by the City Tourist Information Center of St.Petersburg and the Department of Tourism at the Committee for Investments and Strategic Projects.
The event was attended by delegations from 12 cities – Kharkiv partners from 9 countries, representatives of the diplomatic corps, academia, and Ukrainian towns and regions.
Representatives of foreign partner cities not only presented their tourism potential in the framework of the tourism exhibition, but also participated in discussions on the tourism industry and shared their experiences during various conferences on tourism.
