    Mr Suhbataryn Batbold, Prime Minister of Mongolia, Visited St.Petersburg

    On December 15 and 16, 2010, Mr Suhbataryn Batbold, Prime Minister of Mongolia, sojourned in St.Petersburg for an official visit.

    On December 15 and 16, 2010, Mr Suhbataryn Batbold, Prime Minister of Mongolia, sojourned in St.Petersburg for an official visit.

    During the visit, he held a conversation with Valentina Matvienko, St.Petersburg Governor, during which the issues of trade and economic cooperation and ties in the field of culture and education were discussed.

    The parties agreed that the establishment of relations of cooperation between St.Petersburg and the capital of Mongolia – Ulan Bator would adhere the spirit of time and promote the development of multifaceted cooperation and implementation of promising bilateral projects.

    St.Petersburg Governor gave a positive response on the request of the Prime Minister to assist in organizing the acquaintance of the residents of Mongolia with the displays of Mongolian cultural and historical heritage, widely represented in the museums of St.Petersburg.

    During the visit, the Mongolian delegation also visited Piskarevskoe Memorial Cemetery, and Mr S. Batbold laid a wreath at the monument to “Motherland”.
