On December 8 through 12, 2010, Thomas Verdon, Director of the Department for Tourism of Marseille (France), visited St.Petersburg to attend an international conference “Experience and Prospects of Tourism Development in Major Coastal Cities”.
On December 8 through 12, 2010, Thomas Verdon, Director of the Department for Tourism of Marseille (France), visited St.Petersburg to attend an international conference “Experience and Prospects of Tourism Development in Major Coastal Cities”.
During his visit, Mr. Verdon met with M.M. Ordzhonikidze, Head of the Department for Tourism and Vice-Chairman of the Committee for Investments and Strategic Projects, and the parties defined the promising areas of cooperation between the two cities concerning the tourism.
During the meeting at St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations, Mr. Verdon discussed the possibility of Marseilles participating in a program of information interaction “News of the Partner Cities”.
