During his sojourn, Dirk Hilbert met with A.V.Prokhorenko, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations, for negotiations. The negotiations included the discussion of the 50-year anniversary of the partnership of St.Petersburg and Dresden, to be celebrated in 2011.
On September 29, Dirk Hilbert spoke at the plenary session of III St.Petersburg International Innovation Forum and shared a business lunch for foreign guests of the Forum and members of the Government of St.Petersburg.
Durig the Forum, the negotiations were organized for Dirk Hilbert and the leadership of St.Petersburg branch of JSC "Special Economic Zones".
On September 30, Dirk Hilbert had a conversation with E.I. Elin, Chairman of CEDIPT.
