On August 15 through September 12, 2010 a personal exhibition of works by Petersburg artist Vyacheslav Chebotar was held in Hamburg, a twin city of St.Petersburg, under the title “Repentance and Togetherness”. The exhibition was hosted at the principal Lutheran Cathedral of St.Trinity.

The exhibition featured paintings by the master and models of monuments: “St.Andrew the First Called”, “Dante”, “Gogol”, “Anna Akhmatova”, “Fusillade” (the model of tombstones for the last Russian royal family). Organizers of the exhibition were the Lutheran Church of Germany (the bishop of the North-Elbe Diocese Ms Maria Epson) and an art gallery “Dreiklang”.

The exhibition was held with the assistance of the Committee for External Relations and the Committee for Culture of St.Petersburg, under the blessing of Vladimir, Metropolitan of St.Petersburg and Ladoga.

Since August 21, the second exhibition of Vyacheslav Chebotar operates in HanMuenden, the hometown of Brothers Grimm, the famous storytellers, in 300 km from Hamburg.
