On March 4 through 7, 2010, a business mission of St.Petersburg to Austria took place, to present opportunities of St.Petersburg light industry and to participate in the exhibition on light industry «Tracht & Country» in Salzburg.
On March 4 through 7, 2010, a business mission of St.Petersburg to Austria took place, to present opportunities of St.Petersburg light industry and to participate in the exhibition on light industry «Tracht & Country» in Salzburg.
Within the framework of the visit, presentations were made by the Union of Garment Producers “Investments and Cluster Programs – Practical Application in Light Industry”, foundation “Made in St.Petersburg”, and City-wide Agency for Industrial Investment.
Meetings were held with Austrian enterprises dealing in light industry (“Schneiders”, “Mirabel Strickmode”, “Moser”) to discuss the prospects of partnership and the specific details of cooperation; launching a garment techno-park and fashion houses was negotiated, and the experiences were shared on training the personnel for light industry.
