In order to further develop the economic relations between St.Petersburg and Poland, a presentation of innovation and technology cluster of St.Petersburg for engineering and metalworking was given at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (Warsaw) on December 18, 2009.
In order to further develop the economic relations between St.Petersburg and Poland, a presentation of innovation and technology cluster of St.Petersburg for engineering and metalworking was given at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (Warsaw) on December 18, 2009. The presentation was attended by the representatives of the city administration and the business community.
Polish colleagues were introduced to innovation policy and opportunities for international cooperation with St.Petersburg in the area of innovations; innovation and technology cluster for engineering and metalworking was highlighted as an example of industry consolidation and development in the city; the mechanisms of interaction of industrial enterprises of St.Petersburg were explained, as well as the possibility of cooperation in the furniture-making and woodworking industry; also, the presentations «Days of St.Petersburg in Poland» (planned on September 2010) and «St.Petersburg International Partnership of Enterprises from Russian and Polish Regions» (March 2010) were given.
