    On December 16, 2009, A.I. Prokhorenko, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations, met Eric Rubin, Deputy Chief of U.S. Embassy Mission in Russia, with the participation of the Consul General Sheila Gwaltney.

    On December 16, 2009, A.I. Prokhorenko, Chairman of the Committee for External Relations, met Eric Rubin, Deputy Chief of U.S. Embassy Mission in Russia, with the participation of the Consul General Sheila Gwaltney. The meeting took place at the Committee for External Relations in Smolny.

    During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinions on bilateral cooperation of St. Petersburg and the U.S., as well as installation in St. Petersburg in 2010, a monument to John Quincy Adams, the first U.S. Ambassador to Russia, and the establishing of American English school.
