    Seminar «Transportation and Logistics Capacity of St.Petersburg» in Hamburg

    On December 2, 2009, a seminar on «Transportation and Logistics Capacity of St.Petersburg. The role of St.Petersburg in the Transportation Complex of Russia» was held at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.

    On December 2, 2009, a seminar on «Transportation and Logistics Capacity of St.Petersburg. The role of St.Petersburg in the Transportation Complex of Russia» was held at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.

    The event was organized by St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations and St.Petersburg Center for Business and Information in Hamburg.

    From St.Petersburg side, the seminar was attended by the representatives of the Committee on Transportation and Transit Policy, North-West Customs Administration, and business leaders, as well as a representative of the management of FSUE «Rosmorport». More than 100 managers and employees of German companies associated with the port management in several regions of northern Germany showed their interest in the seminar.

    During the event, the delegation of St.Petersburg met with the leadership of the company Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG and the Hamburg port, and visited the container terminal Altenwerder. In the Senate of Hamburg, the delegation met with Axel Gedaschko, Senator in charge of economy issues.
