    Justin Harman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to Russia, Visited St.Petersburg

    Justin Harman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to Russia, visited St.Petersburg on June 26 through 28, 2009, on the occasion of the expiry of his office.

    Justin Harman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ireland to Russia, visited St.Petersburg on June 26 through 28, 2009, on the occasion of the expiry of his office.

    During the visit, Mr Harman met A.V. Prokhorenko, Chairman of St.Petersburg Committee for External Relations, to discuss the prospects for bilateral cooperation in economy, culture, and education, the development of contacts between St.Petersburg and Dublin, including the possible participation of the delegation of Dublin in II International Innovation Forum in St.Petersburg.

    Irish Ambassador also took part in the events devoted to the completion of sailing circumnavigation «Volvo Ocean Race», which involved, along with the other teams, the joint Irish-Chinese team «Green Dragon».
