Such deliveries will be carried out twice a week by a cargo flight from Ashgabat to St.Petersburg. The products will come to the local fruit and vegetable warehouses soon.

The agreement about the direct supply of fruits and vegetables on a regular basis, to improve quality and reduce the retail price, was concluded between V.I. Matvienko, Governor of St.Petersburg, and G.M. Berdymukhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, in March 2009.
