    Russia – EU Summit of Young Leaders

    On 27th April 2007 at 14.00 in The Chess Hall (room. 242) of the Saint Petersburg City Administration the Press conference to introduce the results of the «Russia - EU Summit of Young Leaders» will be held.

    On 27th April 2007 at 14.00 in The Chess Hall (room. 242) of the Saint Petersburg City Administration the Press conference to introduce the results of the «Russia – EU Summit of Young Leaders» will be held. The official closing ceremony will take place there starting at 15.00 .

    «Russia – EU Summit of Young Leaders» will take place in Saint-Petersburg from 22 to 29 April, 2007 within the framework of implementation of the Road Map on the Common Space of Research and Education, including Cultural Aspects approved on May 10, 2005 in Moscow by the leaders of Russia and the European Union. The Summit will bring together heads/deputy heads of the NGOs of the EU member-states and Russia. The Summit goal will be the adoption of distinct projects for 2007 – 2011 (Program 2007 – 2011) between Russia and EU non-governmental organisations. The Program will be drawn up by five working groups according to the following fields: Political engagement, Common cohesion (tolerance), Informal Education and Volunteering, Health and Environment. The fruitful cooperation between NGO’s of Russia and the EU will allow to reach many goals set by the Road Map.
