    On July 24-29, 2019, foreign ships arrived in St. Petersburg to participate in the Main Naval Parade: the destroyer Xi An of the People’s Liberation Army of China and the frigate Tarkash of the Indian Navy

    July 26, the ship "Xi An" and July 26 and 27, the ship "Tarkash" were opened for visiting by Petersburgers and guests of the city.

    The management and staff of the Committee on External Relations of St. Petersburg took part in protocol events jointly with the Western Military District, the High Command of the Russian Navy and delegations of China and India, including on July 27, 2019 at the ceremony of laying wreaths at the Mother Motherland Monument at Piskarevsky Memorial Cemetery.

    Also in St. Petersburg, the crews of foreign warships visited the main sights of the city and museums related to the history of the Russian fleet - the Central Naval Museum and the cruiser Aurora.

    Mutual visits to the ships by the personnel of the Chinese destroyer Xi'an and the Russian corvette Stoichiy and the Indian frigate Tarkash and the Russian corvette Steregushchiy took place.

    On July 26, teachers and students of the Naval School of the Moscow Region of St. Petersburg visited the destroyer Xi An and the frigate Tarkash.

    On July 29, sailors of the Indian frigate Tarkash visited the Military History Museum of Artillery, Engineering Troops and Signal Corps.
