12 March, 2018, in the House of Journalists a press conference dedicated to the forthcoming international scientific and practical conference in honor of the 95th anniversary of the first arrival of Comrade Nguyen Ai Kuok (Ho Chi Minh) to Petrograd was held.
It is expected that the conference, which will be held on the next Friday on March 16 in the Light Hall of Smolny. More than 200 people will take part in it, including the Governor of St. Petersburg Mr.Poltavchenko, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Ngo Duc Manh and representatives of the scientific communities of both countries. Vietnamese media will cover the event.
The key issues of the conference are the development of effective mechanisms for ensuring peace and security, strengthening cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the humanitarian sphere, including cultural exchanges and expanding contacts through the youth line.
The conference will be organized by the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg, Committee for Youth Policy and Public organizations Interaction, Youth Collegium of St. Petersburg, International Road Peace Foundation, Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "The Age of Enlightenment".
